Microsoft Frontpage 2000 Free Download

I've used FP since it came out in about 1994 and have updated it to 2000 and all my web sites are created with it. Now that I have Windows 8, I can no longer install it and need to know what program I can use which will work the same way that FP works.
I was a simple program and one that will work on the host server like FP and one I can create frames with, as well.
I looked at M$$ Exressions 4 and something called Virtual Studio and was totally confused. They are WAY more than what I need and I don't want to do projects with teams or work in the cloud.
Does anyone know of a simple program which works like FP always has and works on both the host server and in th Win 8 OS on my computer? I am beyond confused at this point. Everything I've seen from M$$ is major overkill for me.
I need help.

I think yes, it will.

I have Win10 on a Thinkpad T60, an old core 2 laptop. Win10 seems to run fine, and I installed FP2000 to see if it could edit, save, etc. a web page created in FP2000.

All went well.

NB: I don't use FP's FTP program to upload webs to the server. Instead I use WSFTP ( I think). can't explain the details.

In any event, this old web page updates okay to our godaddy site.

I have Office 2000 and successfully loaded it on my new Win 10 computer (i.e., it came with Win 10, and it recently upgraded to the Win 10 Anniversary edition). The only issue I have is that when I right-click a .htm or .html file and try to open it with Frontpage 2000 (which comes up as 'Microsoft Frontpage Server Administrator' for some bizarre reason), it complains that two DLL files are missing: fp30utl.dll and fp30wel.dll. I found those files on the web (safe sites and scanned for viruses) and loaded them into my Win 10 system, but, nothing worked (FWIW, I'm a computer programmer with 30+years experience including handyman work with computer repair). However, it works standalone: I put it in the Win 10 'Start' box (after unpinning all the junk that MS threw on it!), then clicked it, then selected the desired HTML file. I've had no problems using it like this.
